I've spent five years designing products and writing the code behind them. I still love both.

I'm Marvellous, a designer who codes, based in Lagos. I run Flon, where we help businesses work out where AI is actually worth using, then build it in and keep it running. I've also designed products for teams like Autonoms, Lancity and Varmply.

Doing both sides means less gets lost between the design and the live product. I care about the small stuff, like loading states, edge cases and how a button feels when you press it. AI is a big part of how I work now. I use it to move faster on the routine parts, and I slow down for the parts people will actually notice.
